Results Reporting UPCARE eMR's Results Reporting module provides physicians and other clinicians with a consolidated, secure, Web-based view of lab tests, radiology reports, EKG waveforms and reports, and dictated notes and summaries. An integral part of this module is the Clinical Data Repository (CDR), which stores the results in relationship to a Master Person Index (MPI). If your organization already has an MPI, UPCARE eMR is designed to work with it. If not, UPCARE eMR's CDR contains an MPI. Master Person Index (MPI) An integral component of this module is the Master Person Index (MPI). The application's Common Registration module retrieves data from, and contributes data to, the MPI. This means the process of subsequent registration is greatly simplified by verifying information, rather than re-entering it. When UPCARE eMR's Common Registration is present in the outpatient setting, the application's Order Entry module can be extended to that environment to provide seamless transmission of registration and order information from ambulatory settings to the hospital.
